Responsibilities: Reconcile and maintain the General Ledger. Handle month-end close, cash reconciliation, sales and use tax and other required filings. Support of the Accounting department in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, financial reporting and analysis, and other responsibilities as required. Support store administration by answering questions and ensuring the accuracy of daily cash reconciliations. Respond to various audit requests related to designated areas of responsibility. Work directly with the Director of Finance on any other pertinent special projects as needed.

Job Requirements: Applicant should have at least 3 years of accounting experience and must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Candidate must possess advanced knowledge of Excel and general computer skills. Candidate should be a team player, have strong administrative and organizational skills, and be committed to excellent customer service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry is a plus.
